Jointly, the companies will offer thermoplastic and silicone formulation development through production of drug delivery components.

Mr. Diehl has over 30 years of experience in product development and quality control in the pharmaceutical industry.

PUTNAM, CT   USA – (September 17, 2014) –Foster Delivery Science, a business unit of Foster Corporation and leader in hot melt extrusion (HME) for pharmaceutical and medical device applications, has broken ground on a new facility to support increased demand for manufacturing drug delivery and implant polymer blends. The facility is expected to be completed by May 1, 2015 at which time it will be registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to allow for processing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

PUTNAM, CT USA – (March 18, 2013) – Foster Delivery Science, a leading pharmaceutical contract research and manufacturing provider in the field of hot melt extrusion, has been awarded a Manufacturer’s Technical Assistance Program (MTAP) grant from the University of Connecticut for development of novel processes to improve manufacturability and absorption of poorly water soluble drugs in the body. MTAP is part of an investment by the state of Connecticut in the University Technology Park aimed at supporting manufacturing innovation in the state.
